Faveo is a social app – some of your data is visible to others:
To run the app we use carefully selected providers who process data on our behalf:
| Provider | Purpose | Data transferred |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase (Supabase Inc., USA – server location Ireland, EU) | Database, accounts and photo storage | All account, profile and content data listed above |
| Google (Google Ireland Ltd.) – Maps and Places | Map display and place search | Your search input and the visible map area. Google's privacy policy applies. |
| Expo (650 Industries Inc.) | Delivering notifications | Device identifier and the text of the notification |
| Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH) | Sending confirmation emails | Your email address and the confirmation code |
| Apple (Apple Inc.) | Providing the app, delivering notifications to your device | Device-related data in accordance with Apple's privacy policy |
Where data is processed outside the EU or Switzerland, this is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent level of protection.
You can delete your account directly in the app at any time: Profile → “Edit” → “Delete account” at the very bottom. Deletion happens immediately and is final. Alternatively, an informal email to info@faveoapp.com is enough.
You have the right to access your data, to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability and to object to certain processing. You can withdraw consent you have given – for example for notifications or location access – at any time in iOS Settings. For any request, an email to info@faveoapp.com is enough.
If you believe we are not processing your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU with the data protection authority of your country of residence.
All data is transmitted in encrypted form only. Access to data is secured on the server so that each person can only see the content they are authorised to see – recommendations from private profiles are only available to approved followers. Passwords are only stored as an irreversible hash.
Faveo may be used by people aged 13 and over. Younger people may not use the app.
We update this policy when features or the services we use change. The version published here always applies; the date at the top shows when it was last updated.
